Over the first two weekends in May 2005, Greater Victoria hosted a major tennis spectacle - the 2005 Victoria Open tennis tournament, together with the Victoria Tennis Festival!
On May 6-8 and May 13-15, the 2005 Victoria Open Tennis Tournament & Festival featured hundreds of competitive matches for players from across the Pacific Northwest, while prominent guest speakers delivered professional-level player clinic and fitness seminars to local and visiting tennis enthusiasts.
Summer 2005: Ludo Bertsch and Art Hobbs presented award by SportHost Victoria for revitalizing the 2005 Victoria Open Tennis Tournament.
